Case Study, Men in Black, Sony Pictures.
Men In Black was filmed at the famous Odeon Cinema, Leicester Sq in spring 2019. We worked to a brief set by Sony Pictures to show clips of the film and merchandising opportunities with brands from different sectors.
At this event we had 1 camera operator capturing the live event. This type of campaign video shared the story of Men In Black, giving opportunities for the public to engage with the characters and film, whilst sharing an opportunity for the sale of merchandise. On a live event such as this there is no time for set ups like you would get in a studio studio. There is only one chance to capture the atmosphere and mood of the campaign to share with their online audience.
With this event the brief was to send over a completed video edit within 48 hours ready for internal distribution with their Los Angeles team to showcase the UK event premiere.
Case Study, Age UK Lancashire.
The campaign video for Age UK Lancashire had a different brief to Men In Black as the focus of the video was on raising awareness rather than selling.
This particular project was filmed with 1 principle camera operator and 1 assistant camera operator, with a post production deadline of 3-4 weeks. The video was used internally showcase the project and the success and shared via their social media and website to raise awareness. A voiceover artist was sourced by the Standout Company and the audio was recorded in house at our Manchester studio.
